Iain Provan is an ordained minister of the Church of Scotland. One of the world’s experts on Israelite history who previously taught at London and Edinburgh universities, his research and teaching now span the entire Old Testament. He has recently published two books: Convenient Myths and Seriously Dangerous Religion.
